Senior Scientist Formulation

​

To strengthen our laboratory team in Greenville, SC, we are looking for a Senior Scientist Formulation.

 

Your responsibilities include…

• Formulation development and (physico-) chemical characterization of drug delivery systems with focus on polymeric, protein and peptide-based technologies (including experimental planning, data evaluation and reporting activities)

• Establish necessary analytical methods needed for formulation development, in vitro characterization, and in vivo development

• Active experimental support of Elastrin’s CMC team and the process development activities at our CMOs for development of clinical candidates into first-in-human clinical phase I studies

• Support in evaluation and design of novel drug delivery systems based on Elastrin’s delivery platform including literature work and patent search

• Contribute to scientific collaborations with partners from academia and industry

 

You’ll succeed because with your scientific background, you have:

• PhD in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, or related field

• Experience with analytical methods (e.g. HPLC, SEC and IEX, SDS-PAGE, DLS, Fluorescence spectroscopy) is a must

• Experience with pharmaceutical technologies, ideally with drug delivery systems

• 1-2 years of work experience (within industry or as Postdoc)

• Pro-active team player with ability to work independently in our Greenville, SC lab

• Strong communication and organizational skills
